I am a Chicano trans photographer from La Frontera of El Paso TX.

I have a fascination with documenting the small visible pleasures the world has to offer. With a focus on still moments in nature, the structure of a hand, or the way a sunset can melt into layers of color.

Striving to capture moments on digital camera & film as reminders of stillness, I seek to find solace in the pause a photograph can offer. Everything is momentary and no experience is absolute. One can create an inviting space for pain and suffering; there’s a collectiveness in witnessing the beauty that surrounds us; or by revisiting a memory that evokes emotion. With open invitation to the fluidity life has to offer, I practice these beliefs in my photography. Creating a witnessing space for both pain and pleasure.

Nothing is absolute.
